Welcome to my Website!

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of California, Irvine with specializations in public economics, political economy, and applied microeconomics. My research interest is in state capacity, which is the ability for governments to effectively implement policy goals, and how it impacts the provision of public goods & services. I cover a variety of applications including social insurance, national security, and administrative burden, often with a focus on the role of the public sector workforce.

I am on the 2026-2027 job market.
